Hi Antonio

I guess I wasn't too clear in my post, but the transformer is
still driving a DC supply, with a diode bridge and a 1.8uF
filter cap, so hopefully all it sees are diodes. From there
it will go through a charging choke and diode, and on to
the spark gap.
