   Ralph,
           the hypo method I found to be fiendishly tricky. you can now get
small Polyethylene squeeze bottle w/needle that is for this purpose and
orders of magnitude better. 
I would also recommend trying ethylene dichloride (may be banned) or
methylene chloride.
