You don't. The primary should not be connected to the secondary at any
time. Not by direct electrical connection anyway. Just put the secondary
in the middle of the primary. The RF ground connects to the lower wire on
the secondary, and to the center terminal of any safety gaps, if you're
using 3-pole safety gaps.
