Ime Interested in the factor of 'stiffness' also. Anyone out there who has
rolled an 
LDPE cap by hand will know that it can be 'agony' on the wrists  and/or
frustrating 
experience getting the rolls tight enough.Ide have like touse HDPE, but i
dont think 
i could roll one by hand, not tight enough anyhow.Anyone use a lathe to
roll their 
caps? If so, got any special tips?  Ime tempted to roll a giant high
voltage DC cap
just to cause general havoc in the neighbourhood. I gather mylar? is best
for dc 
single pulses?
