Subject: 8KV tank supply from microwave oven components

Because attached files are not forwarded, here is an ASCII drawing of my
tentative power supply. It is made of 2 sets of transformer + diode +
capacitor from two microwave ovens. The transformers give about 2KV, which is
doubled with capacitor + diode to 4KV. Put two of these is series and you
get 8KV. See the picture below:

               || ||          -----

If you are carefull with transformer phasing, you get 8KV pulses at
25 Hz (Europe = 50Hz 220V!). Connect the phases wrong and you'll get
4KV pulses at 50 Hz. Between + and - terminals I can get a 0.37" continuous
spark between a simple 2-screw gap.

Any problem to feed a TC with this (forget about filtering for now)?
