Subject: Polyurethane and coil form
I just finished putting several heavy coats of polyurethane on my PVC form
and have noticed SEVERAL bumps ridges and valleys. Do you think it would be
ok to lightly sand the surface smooth with a 220 grit paper? I use PARKS oil
modified polyurethane which is pretty thick and sometimes difficult to
smooth out. What kind does everyone else use? Also the form has been setting
under a pile of other PVC for awhile and isn't a perfect circle any more.
You have to look very closely to notice it though. Will this matter a great
deal in the long run?
