John,

I have stated that the COLLECTED CHARGE POTENTIAL on an isolated capacity
terminal with reference to ground near a sparking coil is always negative as
measured with a Kiethley 610C electrometer.   Whether there is a net DC
charge on
the Tesla coil terminal or not is unknown.  Others on the list may make
inferences from the above.  I refuse to do so.  All I know is that
regardless of
collecting device be it point of sphere, a negative potential is always
registered.
