Thanks for all the help in finding Glyptal!  We did find it through
Thomas Register:

Glyptal Inc.
Tele: 1-617-884-6918  
1201 Red Enamel
Dielectric strength: 1500 volts per mil
Price: $46.15/gallon...but minimum order is 250 gallons :(.  Almost as
much as Chuck's source.  Even more expensive than our mortgage payment!

But we did find it locally (FL) from Electrical Insulation Supply for
$69.37/gallon with no minimum.  Hope this helps those of you looking
for a source, and thanks again!
