Subject:  Series Gaps

Hi all,
        A quick single shot test of a new system I am building showed 
that output peaked with a certain number of gaps. Too many and I 
suspect gap losses are climbing. Too few and quench is non-existent.
I will scope this system when the final resonator is in place. Just 
how many gaps is ideal appears to be determined by initial cap 
voltage.
