I seem to recall that the forward voltage drop is something like 150
Volts The tube is available from Richardson Electronics around here
(Los Angeles area), they can fax you a data sheet for the 8020 or 8020A.
(8020AX is $125 new, last time I checked)
Newark Electronics has the 8020W (from Richardson) at $450+
