These capacitors are most likely rated at DC voltages and will rapidly
deteriorate in TC use just like the infmaous "doorknob" caps uesd in TV
HV applications. While they will probably withstand a certain amount of
abuse, the metal can indicates that a *very* good shield should be used
to encapsulate the capacitors, as the cans when (not IF) they blow will
generate a fair amount of shrapnel (small pieces of metal or other hard
material designed to maim or kill)

This sounds interesting, though again, you have to be very careful about
capacitors. It's a wonder they haven't been classified as a form of
firearm (perhaps I should shut up).
Please be safe! Capacitors are much more sneaky than high voltage!
