Ken,
I bought the 0.25mm clear polyethylene I use for rolled caps from
Langs h'ware in Wellington (NZ). The last time, I bought an entire
roll of pristine stuff. They had put it to one side thinking the talc
powder on it was some kind of defect. I snapped it up. As a bonus, it
had fewer defects than any other I had previously bought.
It might be worth seeing if you can get sheet polypropylene from
somewhere. The stuff is prolific - they make those budget deck chairs
out of it. It has a much higher m.p. than polyeth. I'd love to get my
hands on a roll if anybody in N.Z. knows where to obtain it.
