Rod,

I am connecting the two primaries in series.  The secondary 
represents somewhat more work and expense than the primary.  By using 
the same kind of secondary in both towers it simplifies the stocking 
of spares.  Tandem secondaries have a habit of self consumption in the hands of 
uncaring or inexperienced demonstrators.
