Quick question about a 1/4" diameter copper tubing primary.  Many people
have talked about adding turns to their primary.  So I have a few
questions I'd like some feedback on.

1: can you simply add more tubing to the primary (either by soldering or
some other means?)

2: Does the overall length of the primary have an impact on the coil, or
just the tap point.  for example, I have an 8 turn primary on my coil
now.. and it's tuned at about 7 turns.  Would the coil operate identical
if the primary was 20 turns yet still tapped at turn 7, or does the extra
tubing affect something down the line?
