While John may have achieved these spark lengths, from mine and others
experiences, it is no mean feat! and probably the result of some years
experience.
I have only just managed to get 40" from my "two" 15Kv 30Ma trannies so
I think you should be quite pleased with yourself if you get 36".
There's still nothing quite like the thrill of producing your first
lightning bolts!
