For those who appreciate the different appearance of the Lightning Fury
(discharge ranging from white thick snake-like to a myriad of thin branching
thread-like), the plasma "dome" is still available as a replacement part
from Radio Shack. Last time I checked, no significant other parts were
available, but a flyback-type high frequency high voltage supply will give
good results, especially if both power level and frequency can be varied.
