This is a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory page on some big FET driver
circuits they use. The Metglas transformer cores mentioned, by the way, are
a special core material made by spraying s molten alloy on a high speed
metal drum cooled to a couple hundred degrees below zero. The metal
solidifies so fast that normal crystalization fails to take place, resulting
in a transformer material with almost zero hysteresis, and fantastic high
freq properties.
