That is correct, the line current was at somewhere around 18 amps and the pig
input voltage was at 175 volts.  Then all of a sudden, the gaps almost
stopped firing (very weak and sporadic), the current dropped to a few amps
and the line voltage went up to 240 volts.  - Whatever happened, the load
went away.
