It sounds like your coil is way out of tune.  From what I understand, it
seems that you are getting a voltage maximum at about twice the frequency
(1/2 the coil length).  You may need to drop the frequency by increasing
the capacitance, which should be around 0.015uF or so.  Is there any way
you can measure the inductance and capacitance for all the components?
