Re: Tesla Photo Anomaly

Regarding Charles Steinmetz:
Steinmetz was not a prolific inventor as Tesla was, but in
many ways he was much more of a pioneer of the electrical engineering
PROFESSION, with major contributions to electrical design and analysis
techniques, establishment of electrical engineering as a profession, and
emphasis on electrical engineering education. I think all of us in this
group appreciate Tesla for what he did, but to compare him to Steinmetz
is not fair to either; their contributions were different. Tesla's
work after polyphase circuits and induction motors left far less legacy
than did Steinmetz's. If Tesla had carried through with some of his
"wireless" work he would have been a very important figure in that field,
but he didn't choose to do so. Different, talented guys whose lives
went in quite different directions.
