Re: Tesla Secondary Voltage

I left the spark gap at the original length, so it was breaking
down at the same voltage as with high power.  Now that you mention
it, peak primary voltage was probably same in both cases.  With
the particular capacitor setup I am using (0.009 mfd) the gap
breaks down with as little as 30 volts primary voltage on the
neon xformer, undoubtedly due to resonant rise.  Will look into
this more later as have just found my high-resistance divider
which will let me look at transformer secondary voltage.
