Hi all,
I wrote some simple programs to solve the differential equations
for a two coil resonant system. Plots of the voltages or other variables
are made directly on an EGA (IBM compatible)or better screen. If anyone is
intersted in doing cheap coil experiments, I'd be happy to send a copy.
Among things I've tested:
effect of the coupling coefficient, k, on the efficiency of energy transfer
" " " " k, on the frequency splitting
Effect of Qs, Qp on the efficiency
You can also easily see the effect on the voltage waveforms of the "magic"
K values of 0.6, 0.385, etc...
