I do know that it's huge - and unhealthy.. Fields like that
are used in NMRs and they have a biological safety-area etc..
It was just a remark about the possibilities - it _would_ quench at
that flux.density.. :)
I haven't seen any large magnets around here in Finland as
surplus - not that there would even be any good surplus-stores
of electronics.. I still kick myself as I did miss the opportunity
to get really great magnets a few years ago when local lab did
eliminate an old particle accelerator (something like betatrone)
and I could have just picked the parts I'd needed had I know - they
just dumped the thing.. :( :(
