RE: Capacitor in series or parallel?

Good Morning Miles, I am just a member on the side and carry no weight
with what I say but believe me all members of this group want to see,
safe, happy, safe, careful, safe and alive coilers. The big concern in
every ones mind is the safety of all. About 30 years ago I was working
as a machinist in a research lab and a young man opened up a shaker
(large electromagnet) with out turning off the power supply and lost his
hand and was extremely scarred. I still remember the smell of burnt
flesh. They also had a young co-op in the lighting lab and he did not
respect the HV caps when charged, the young man lost his life. Be safe
and stay with us for a long time.
It is also refreshing for a person like me to see someone asking
questions about basic coiling, it helps many just wanting to get into
it.

Dear Sirs,

P.S. I am really sorry that I zapped myself with the MOT Dr. Resonance! I don't want to hurt anyone else, or myself, or the integrity of this list in any way.

Sincerely,

Miles
