Hi Dan,

Try a #25, at least that's the size for a 10-24 tap. Best to try an experiment to see if it will hold. I would think it would work, due to the screw leaving 10-24 threads behind once removed. I do remember that there is a different size used when drilling and tapping phenolic. (one number larger?)

Anyone know what the pilot hole size would need to be to use a 10-24 Type-F Thread Cutting screw. My handy Machinist Handbook didn't seem to have the info in it (or at least i couldn't find it)
