All
My web page is back up, for now anyway. I have updated the computer
and lost some files in the process. There is a pic of an underground HV
transmission line at www.flash-dot-net/~kreld/underground.jpg Two PVC
conduits 2" dia run 25 feet underground with another 1/2" PVC pipe spaced
inside the 2" pipe for airflow to travel drying the lines of any
condensation if it occurs. Inside the 1/2" PVC is RG-8 with the shield
removed. A third 1 1/2" PVC pipe is also buried to carry low voltages &
signal wires from the Coil to the controler. Operating voltages to 17,
000 kV have been applied with no problems whatsoever. The pic does not
show the finished system with end caps & shop entrance. The ends
outside at the Tesla Coil have small pieces of filter material to keep
critters out.

This system was installed last fall and is 8" underground. More Biggg
Coil pics with components, Biggg Coil building and other junk are at
www.flash-dot-net/~kreld/kevin's.htm Many thanks to Ross Overstreet and
David Wrightman for some of thier photos displayed here. With a new
camcorder and digital camera, I hope to take more pics this Spring
running the new 5 HP sync gap with electronic phase control.
