Pole Pig Book ISBN Number
Hello All:
The other day a briefly mentioned a book "Transformers", I had been
reading that covered pole pigs in depth. Chip suggested that it's ISBN
number would be handy, so here it is:
ISBN 0-8269-1602-3
I've found it interesting since it does cover alot on pole pig
fabrication with photographs from various manufacturing plants. It also
provides a bit on basic transformer theory, transformer classes, cooling
methods, maintenance and on and on. It was required reading for
employees of two Wisconsin Square D plants that fabricated many of the
transformers for both G.E. and Westinghouse, according to the Engineer
now working for us, who used to work there. Hope it might be of interest
to some!
