RE: 2 NST's each 1/2 dead...



Hi Scot,

I don't think you have to worry about a fire hazard. I've seen NSTs that
were shorted internally run years, 24/7, and the worst thing that happened
was some of the tar melted out of the cases.
Two of these transformers worked just fine after unpotting, BTW after I had
rescued them.
