I found a supplier that has commercially made to order toroids
available.
Here are the prices as directly quoted to me. No need to spring for
tooling.

I have asked for photo and or drawings/specs.

If enough people are interested, I could put together a bulk buy.


To give you an idea where our prices fall. Enclosed is a range of toroid

25 pcs. Alum. toroid (one pc. construction) 4"x 3"x 1/2"   -at- $ 27.50 ea.

       Delivery would be approx. 5-6 wks A.R.O. depending on the
quantity
      ordered and our current work load at time of order placement.

 25 pcs. Alum. Toroid 14"x 10"x 2"                         -at- $ 68.90 ea.

Estimated delivery would be approx. 6-8 wks. A.R.O. depending on qty.
ordered and current work load.
