i tried using polyethylene in cap construction, i couldn't find a cheep
high quality pe.
mcmastercar has good poly, but it's quite expensive.
i decided to make flat plate caps, i used poly prop. sheet protectors
from office max. they give you a break on a thousand or so, i used the
diamond clear avery's.
they measured 6.6mil thick each, i used 5 between each plate, now i used
al. foil for the plates but i now would sujest thin flashing, it would
be easier to smooth the edges. i used mineral oil and five gallon
buckets.
well rather then make this a huge post on the actual construction, feel
