Hi Brad,

I like the little christmas coil 8-) very artistic.

Your secondary is much too long, might make a interesting bi-polar
coil though.  The secondary should have a height-width ratio of
4-1 to 5-1.  With a 3" diameter secondary you will have better luck
with 28awg mag wire.  Your spark gap looks good to me.

You might consider cutting your secondary in half and making a 
twin tower out of it.
