Hi Bart,
I am no expert but I have one of terrys filters and thought of this. A
friend who knows more than me about these things pointed out that the
problem is that the neutral terminal might carry too much current as it is
only designed for one phase at a time. This makes sense. At the same time I
am only putting 15 amps into the thing and it is designed for twenty so I
expect it wouldn't matter too much in my case. Hope this helps.
