Hi man! A RQ static gap is pretty quiet compared to a simple
2-bolt approach. More of a loud hissing/high pitched buzzing.
Build one and give it a try...but if she complains about the static
gap noise, what does she think of the secondary discharges? Just
be sure not to run it during her favorite shows ;)
