Stan,

I have a Bodine 1/25 HP motor the I am using for a RSG. It's already set up
for 1800 RPM without modification. Mine has 4 wires also. The extra set of
wires is connected to a centrifugal breaker that is built into the motor.
This breaker engages extra coils on start up for extra torque and disengages
after the motor has started spinning. You should have 2 wires of each
color(2 black and 2 green or whatever). Connect 1 wire of each color to your
line inputs, i.e. 1 black and 1 green(or whatever color) connected together
on each side of your AC line. This should make your motor spin at its rated
RPM.

	I have an old Bodine 1/20 HP, 1725 RPM motor that I was thinking of
using for
	my RSG.  There are four wires coming out of it.  Any ideas on how to
wring them
	out to make the right connection?  The only connection that I have
found that
	works only turns the motor at 900 rpm, which is half of what it
should be.  I
	am wondering if two of the wires should be connected to a start cap?
There is
	not an internal cap, and the motor does not have a centrifugal
switch either.
