Hi Tyler.
If you can't get ahold of transformer oil, you can use mineral oil (from a
pharmacy) or a cheap grade of motor oil. Get the cheapest you can find....you
don't want the extra additives found in higher-grade motor oils. I have
successfully used motor oil in many applications (unpotted neons, capacitors,
etc.) It works great.
But, of course high voltage transformer oil is the best by far; however, you
will pay for it. So shoot a pig and let it leak into a bucket JUST KIDDING.
