IMHO you cannot measure output voltage of a TC by sparklength.
There is a very simple test to prove this: Run your coil
single shot. What sparklength do you measure to a grounded
rod? To air? Now increase the breakrate to 120BPS. What do you
now measure? Output voltage doesn't change between these two
tests.
