Since Q is just the inverse of the amount of energy lost per cycle (as a
ratio), it should be pretty easy to relate efficiency and Q. 100%
efficiency = 0 loss = infinite Q. Now, how are you going to define
efficiency? As the amount of energy left in the tuned circuit after each
cycle?: In which case Q = 1/efficiency.....
A sort problem here is that your units are not consistent. Efficiency
deals with a steady state power ratio (Pout = eff * Pin, or eff =
(Pin-Ploss)/Pin ), while Q is more of a transient effect relating to energy
stored in the tuned circuit.
