Re: Information.

Ken,

That person must be your enemy. Ozone is extremely dangerous and bad for
you. Fortunately, it's very odiferous, so you smell it readily. I looked
up ozone (O3) in the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 65th edition,
and found the TLV for ozone to be 0.1 ppm. TLV is the threshold limit
value, where protective gear must be worn above concentrations greater
than the figures given. To compare against known toxins, here are some
other values from the table I looked at: (ppm = parts per million)
mg/M**3 = milligrams of particulate per cubic meter of air

Ozone 0.1 ppm 0.2 mg/M**3
Carbon Monoxide: 50 ppm
Chlorine: 1 ppm
Flourine: 0.1 ppm
Strychnine: 0.15 mg/M**3
SF6: 1000 ppm 6000 mg/M**3
Phosgene: 0.1 ppm 0.4 mg/M**3

In short, use good ventilation, and don't smell the ozone if you can help
it.
