Ralph,
Bert Hickman mentioned several in a previous post.
Since stainless steel contains both chromium and nickel, chromium oxide
and nickel oxide come to mind first.
Go to this site and read the MSDS sheets on these two compounds and then
decide how often you want to breathe stainless steel "fumes"!
