860 tetrode

A friend of mine has a question regarding an old 860 tetrode he picked up
at a hamfest. The tube was said to function fine, but there are some
scrates in the glass visible. Might they present a possible implosion
risk? Could the heat and stress of operation shatter the glass from these
weak points?

He describes it as a radiotron 860, transmitting tetrode, plate diss 100W
