The dimensions I gave in my other posting were for an 1800 rpm motor.
Since the motor wants to *see* the armature *pole* after grinding the
flat, the 3600 rpm flats should possibly be wider than the 1800 rpm type.
When I modified my 3450 rpm motor, I made the flats 1 1/16" wide on
a 1 7/8" dia armature. This proportion worked out very well. Whether
this is the best proportion, I don't really know.
