117 kHz is way too high for CM600 modules! they can probably do about 50kHz
absolute max.
You need a gate driver with dedicated high current output FETs as the peak
gate drive current needed can be many 10s of amps!
1200V bricks are really best used with 650V DC from voltage doubled 240V AC.

But given your questions I think you should really start with a simple half
bridge DRSSTC with FGA60N65 IGBTs or similar parts like 75T65.
something cheaper that runs around 200kHz and makes about half a meter
sparks at most. There is just so much that you can do wrong on a big build
if you haven't already gotten a small one working.
