Re: [TCML] Tesla Digest, Vol 152, Issue 1

Hi Greg,Re Tesla RoadsterI have done a lot of TC stunts but I wouldn't
do that one. If you drive towards the coil you are about equidistant
from the RF antenna and your tricycle base. Perhaps a ground plane to
cover you a bit. Hopefully won't drop your collected power and may
even increase it if retuned. IMHO you need to allow for minimum 30%
extra distance as sparks will "go around" the direct path at times. I
came very close to this potential disaster during Australia's Got
Talent years ago. Seen only by me on my hidden camera in retrospect
and may have been more than 30%. Also perhaps the earth chain should
be connected to a rod so it doesn't swing around and get caught in the
wheel so you not only lose your earth connection but also tip
over.Photographically, this would look great in low light long
exposure. The TC light is low as you have to prevent breakout to keep
up EM radiation so it won't be flooded with sparks although the
occasional one won't matter. An occasional spark  and will give the
effect of multiple people going around the track at speed. Use 2 laps
?20 seconds and fiddle with the exposure. These make great
magazine/media shots and you need it for potential funding."Roadster"
is fabulous though. Red goes faster though.Peter Terren
