Hi everyone, Happy New Year! On Gary Lau's site, the EMI circuit diagram
(Figure3) indicated as "Best" shows 2 capacitors (C7 & C8) between the
Variac and the rest of the circuit. My (dumb) question is whether C7 & C8
are within the Corcom EMI case or two separate capacitors that need to be
added to the circuit.
And, if these caps are to be added, specifically what type of caps are
they? i.e., side from being .009uF each and rated to handle 120 mains
voltage, is there anything else in particular I need to know in selecting
these capacitors.
