First mine did not explode. Its my new 6"pvc secondary. It has two slip on endcaps. After running for a few minutes I opened one end to look inside make sure nothing had been arcing inside. Everything looked good but there was a strong oder of ozone inside. If ran long enough is there a danger of pressure build up or ignition?
