[TCML] Any uses for GU 5A with broken filament?

Dear Group,
I've got  GU5A with a broken filament and was wondering are there any uses
for it? The vacuum still seems good.

Could I run it in cold cathode mode?  There is still a mega ohm reading
between filament and anode.
