Which is better at any given time depends on what value you give at that time to the process of Making.. For some, the appearance of the end product is where the value lies. For this, buying the parts to assemble an MMC is of course, the way to go. For others, saying "I made this out of basic stuff" is important and a bucket cap fulfills that need. It's all in what's important to you, and you can always change your mind. no one begins with their final coil.
