Dave, Weellllll ultra-proprietary might be a good term to use. Some of the waveforms it can produce are classified though, along with its full capabilities I would imagine. Let me tell you, this thing is a heck of a lot of fun to crawl around inside =) We have other cool things, like lightning simulator marx's which reside permanently built into large semi-trailers, etc. Its basically nerdvana for HV enthusiasts, with the added bonus of expensive warplanes everywhere... lol. lucky for you, their are a few materials from before my time already in the public domain, so have fun reading =) Check here http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?reload=true&arnumber=5559490 A 6-MV Pulser to Drive Horizontally Polarized EMP Simulators and Here http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?arnumber=6191484 Operational Performance of the Horizontal Fast Rise EMP Pulser at the Patuxent River EMP Test Facility Cheers, Jay ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Speck" <Dave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Tesla Coil Mailing List" <tesla@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2014 2:05:33 PM Subject: Re: [TCML] Whre are tesla coils used today? A fact I am aware of being that I work with the largest HEMP system of its kind in the world, and am currently involve in development of the largest VEMP system as well. Both consist of massive multistage Marx systems. > > Cheers, > John "Jay" Howson IV > _______________________________________________ Tesla mailing list Tesla@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.pupman.com/mailman/listinfo/tesla _______________________________________________ Tesla mailing list Tesla@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.pupman.com/mailman/listinfo/tesla
