Another use-
Every so often they check the hot sticks at work . An outside contractor has a box trailer set up and upon investigation I spied a round cylinder with a toroid on top inside where they test. It is a Tesla Coil, was told it was oil filled. And due to time didn't get the voltage they tested at. It is probably a solid state, but an example of Tesla in use .
PS- My neighbors have cameras awaiting the next show, as they like it. Would like to set up with a nice blanket of snow on the ground, maybe next winter and some suggestions on viability and safety !
