Folks..
References to Aristotelian and Platonic methods, and commentary about
empiricism vs dialectic aren't really keeping in the purpose of the
list, which is about theory and practice of designing, building, and
operating Tesla Coils.
A discussion about theoretical vs measured properties is fine, but not
when abstracted to the level of the last few posts, and particularly not
when not containing any additional content.
Now, if someone were to post some data they had collected viz Galileo's
refutation of Aristotelian physics with physical demonstration, that's
fine.
Empirical evidence that seems to contradict established theory is always
welcome.
